A little about the Artist . . . |
I've come
to learn about and love making jewelry late in life, but never
too late. I've spent the last 15 or 16 months getting educated
about jewelry making and all the exciting techniques
available. Mostly I've been using semi-precious stones for
making necklaces, bracelets, earrings, etc. to get me started.
I've been blessed to be involved in an online bead
store with my Daughter, Terry (our guru) and my granddaughter,
Shelby and do we have a blast taking classes and shopping for
the store. There is a lot of work involved, especially for the
younger two. I spend most of my time being creative and being
available when needed.
I'm going to join them at William Holland Lapidary
School this summer for silver and metal work classes. I
live in the country with my husband, Phil and our cat,
Alexander. We're both retired but seem busier than when we
were working. A gift shop kept me busy for over 20 years.
Designing jewelry has become a passion for me. Hope to meet
